Interesting data from India Today. The only group of people to vote more for COngress(I) are the illiterates! No wonder Congress(I) would like to keep India as backward, illeterate and ignorant as possible. In such an environment, it is easy to sell Gandhi glamour and mem-sahibs. india-today.com Ofcourse, the muslims form the other "vote bank" for Congress(I). So, it suits them to keep the hindu-muslim divide going and reap the benefits election time.
