I just don't see a strong relationship there. I think for whatever reason the market has decided oil is just not important. They basically don't care, and I have to say they have been right about that, and I have been wrong.

I thought for a long time oil would be inevitably inflationary, but we have no reported evidence to support that yet.

Personally, I am very skeptical of the CPI and PPI, and I think they really cook the books to show low inflation for political reasons. But still, I thought we see some significant repercussions in certain sectors by now (e.g., airlines, transportation, etc.), but so far that has been pretty moderate, even minimal. I don't understand why, frankly.
