I agree 100% But it may have to change a bit now that the Rambus surprise has taken place. I trade with Dean Witter, and you should have heard my broker talking about Eddelstones recent performance. He doesn't push the company's research, but he was really mad about that strong buy at $90 that turned neutral 4 days later at $60. His words, as well as I can remember, were "can you imagine calling up a client and trying to explain how he lost 50% in less than a week after following our guidance?" There are some pros out there that got badly burned by these events, and they will have lost some of their trust of Intel.

And Rambus has always been an Intel Umbrella play. I suspect that the downward drift of Intel is from a cautious backing away from a great many heavily held positions. I'm sure that Intel is intervening with buys wherever it feels it needs to, but ultimately this stock is headed down unless there is a huge good news surprise for Intel.

AMD has to prove itself - and the quiet, steady progress over the past few weeks has been exactly what's been needed.
