Andy...(and Richard) Thanks a lot for jumping in here. As I'm terrible at writing my own scans, this one is greatly appreciated. Help me with my education. I can't find a reference to "ATR", but I'm guessing it has to do with trading range. Also, I'm further assuming here, that once I run this scan I will get the more volatile issues from my database placed in "atr89.lst" upon which I can run another scan to generate signals for my consideration. Am I close to understanding any of this? Ken
