Sarah Palin used left wing tactics against them. The use of the term "death panels" was a brilliant move. The left does this stuff & far worse all the time. It's just like libs calling gov't run health care "single payer" & "health insurance reform". Libs don't want you to know that complete gov't run health care is the end game here so they intentionally mislabel it in order to get folks to buy into it. Palin called it death panels to draw attention to the real deal, that the gov't would be making life & death decisions for you. Her action got America talking about some of the really horrific things that "health insurance reform" was going to happen.
