NW... I stopped in a Circuit City store yesterday and checked out the CPQ Aero 8000. I liked it but haven't made a decision yet. I spoke to 2 salesmen and both told me that Christmas pc sales had been very good. One told me that their two biggest sellers were HWP and CPQ and that they were selling at about the same pace, while the other told me that CPQ was outselling HWP. Either way, CPQ seems to be getting more than its share of the retail market. I was reading one of Coach's posts over at the Zoo yesterday and he suggests that with the 4+ billion $$$ in CMGI stock that CPQ owns, the potential for another immediate one billion $$$ in AV share worth at IPO, the cash rec'd from the AV sale, the cash rec'd in the DEC purchase, and reasonable ongoing appreciation of both the AV shares and the CMGI shares, that within 12 months, CPQ will have gained back the 8 billion $$$ that they spent for DEC in the first place. Wow, kinda like having gotten DEC for free! El
