Is he really - I wonder. The standard newsletter procedure is to just let the failures fade away, not mention them any more, and hope people forget. Asensio controls that website of his, all he has to do is delete or edit anything that makes him look fallible. You may have had some success with a few picks, but have you kept a record of all his calls? Seems to me I saw a number of bad calls posted a week or so ago on this thread. There was also some bafflegab about 'formal' and 'informal' calls, but that is of course irrelevant, a call is a call is a call.

One thing about EC - he's been known to use the odd literary device, like for instance exaggeration for emphasis. If you wanted to be charitable you could grant him Poetic License for this -g-
Get him cranked up, though, really inspire him with some whacko foolishness like a desert dirt, and if he's got the time he'll put out some great stuff. Check out the Oct ipmcf thread, there were some all-nighters that will end up in reference works on the early days of the Internet. Worth reading - I don't know what his drug of choice is, but I'd trade him this six-pack for some any day. But I fear he is busy lately, or maybe there is a lack of inspiring opponents on this thread.

But I live in hope ....... -g- ............. cheers ........... marcos
