Bernie your points about CEF's are well made. I agree...the bond funds and some of the equity income funds certainly do fill a need. I will re-evaluate the CEF idea and follow them for a while again. To bring up another subject, I compartmentalized them with REITs which, to me, never seem to live up to their potential. Thanks for the feedback. Floyd
