Mike, to answer what I think happened with ECD not announcing a contract on cognitive computer with DARPA. It may have a black ops contract. Reading that 17% of defense budget is spent on secret program's. I saw a TV program last night saying we have laser weapons that can shoot down artillery shells and missiles. What makes me give a shot in dark opinion on ECD secret contract like this ? The post 93902 of Dave Meldrum on Yahoo. Jane's defense magazine talked about "GASP". Read this and tell me the government doesn't keep important secrets from its citizens. Who's to know? Its just the kind of secret the defense department would keep. Bush's policy on star wars is continuing he hasn't give any of the money back on developing laser weapons and installing systems as we go. With all this spending I would think the economy would be booming. Let me stick to subject at hand Devlins shadow stands over me.(meaning wrong place for that speech.) Folks we have speed of light weapons now if we show them to the Japanese they will make them smaller,lighter and better and at low cost too.
