don't seem to have any knowledge of the pain the shorts felt in the nets. Michelle, actually the long/short ratio in nets is about 5:1, which means there are 5 Longs vs. 1 Short. There were/are some Big shorts had suffered very deep losses, but there are FAR MORE nets longs have been suffering big losses! Most of the on-line retail investors/traders are Longs. That's the reason for the almost 100% margin requirements for most of the nets
