Interesting Deal's arithmatic!

SYMC has 633M shares.
VRTS has 422M shares.

VRTS gained 844M in capitalization.
SYMC lost 3,155M in capitalization.

One could buy both companies and make a lot of money.
I am long VRTS and tempted to sell it and buy SYMC
with the proceeds. It makes sense, doesn't it?
