DJ Valero Energy Board OK's Added $2B Stock Buyback >VLO DOW JONES NEWSWIRES Valero Energy Corp. (VLO) Monday said its board has authorized the repurchase of up to an additional $2 billion worth of its common stock. The company said it has bought back roughly 33 million shares so far this year at a cost of about $1.9 billion. Shares of the San Antonio, Texas-based oil and gas company closed Friday at $52.09, down 1.6%.
