Rush predicted this 4 years ago. They were out to destroy Mr Trump and his family and family businesses. They did not want to just defeat or remove him but to embarrass and destroy him, and his empire, and send a strong message to anybody else outside of the swamp.

IMO, Paul Ryan assisted the coup by resigning along with 39 other R open House seats. Of course the RINO's were always against him and never lifted a finger to prevent Mueller or the impeachment.

President Trump was always alone except for his family, some close allies, and us, the voters that were so appreciative of his support.
