Swami Vishnu Devananda was born Swamy Kuttan Nair on Dec 31 1927. He entered the corps of Engineers of the Indian Army. He met Swami Sivananda and within a year he renounced everything and embraced the life of spiritual study and service of humanity. He was given the name Swami Vishnu Devananda. he was professor of Hatha Yoga at Vedanta Forest Academy. Was a personal secretary to Swami Sivananda.
He travelled and taught YOGA in Ceylon, Singapore, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Australia, and Hawaii. When he landed in San Francisco, he learned to drive and travelled throughout America.
Within a few years over 2 dozen teaching centers were established. In 1969 TRUE WORLD ORDER was established. He flew over all the war zones and troubled places.
