Ask Disney, and the local boards of Realtors, and the local Chambers of Commerce. They will be happy to explain their opposition to you! (It's a pretty good example of 'NIMBY', 'not in my back yard'. They are making profits off of tourism, real estate developments, etc., and don't want anything that would put those profits and game plans at risk.) It's really very straight-forward and easy to understand....
