The Cholas of Thanjavur-Tamil Nadu/Aggressive and expansionary. Peter: As you very well know India has never given anybody cause to worry.The only time as far as I know when someone from the region annexed anyone was during the Chola Dynasty around 600 AD during which time Rajendra Chola from Tamil Nadu (Madras) conquered Sri Lanka (Ceylon),part of Malaya (Malaysia) and Indonesia.
