Marshall, Yes, I can't wait until the farking day traders move on either. Bitch, moan, complain, ... How indignant. Greed is definately ruling the market right now. .95 in '96; 1.30 in '97; and 1.68 in '98. When was the last time you heard people complaining about only getting a 36.8% & 29.2% increase in earnings (76.8% in 2 years!) They are blind to the risk of those high flying high reward companies. For Fear will come back into this market one day. (intrest rates, wages, inflation) When it does, everyone will be scrambling to get out of the over-valued stocks. They will move their money to stocks that have good value. Stable companies with solid growth. Leaders in their industry, like S3. Good news - DOWN; Bad news - UP? C ya, Dave C. ps : I was searching around ZDnet for Winbench '97, but no luck. Is there a way I can get/buy a copy. I just built my new system and would like to benchmark it. (Intel PR-440FX motherboard w/Pentium Pro 200MHz 256K cache)
