I think this UAE thing is a deliberate plot by Rove in which je plans to make the Republican Congress folks look good to their electorate in Nov. 2006. Bush does not have to run for any election. So what does he care. From saying he would veto the Congress motion to not allow the deal to go forward, he is now projecting himself as having given in to his Repub Congress buddies by accepting a delay in its finalization. What is next? Let us call it off!!!

Anyway, the Dems have also come out looking as a party which is very serious about the war on terrorism. For the first time after 5 years, polls so a slight tilt towards the Dems in November 2006.

And let us also not forget the denial of civil liberties by this Administration when it is eavesdropping on US citizens.
