In general, I would imagine the contract is to run the IT system so Ericsson can concentrate on their core business. It stands to reason that the arrangement to pick up Ericsson's IT employees is mutually beneficial.

I would also think Compaq IT management would use the best hardware for the job. It might not always be CPQ, but I bet most of it is CPQ. I bet when IBM has a contract like this, that the equipment is IBM.

I signed off my regular ISP and signed on the AV free service. The ad is running cheerfully at the top of my screen. It does take up some room. However the speed has been very good so far. I do wonder how it will be when I crank up my RT browser and service tomorrow. It could be good because it is local and doesn't have very many people using it yet.
