To All:

In an earlier post I forecast that MSFT was going to the bargaining table to look at the case that the gov't has. And as I had mentioned earlier Gate's saw what it was i.e. that it didn't hold water and was no different than the last one brought unsuccessfully by DOJ and decided they could and should go to the mat. All MSFT wanted to do was see what they had ( a peak at their hand). The DOJ said MSFT was jerking them around and on this point they were correct. A standard and prudent move on the part of MSFT's legal team. Their assessment is DOJ has no case let's go to court. The price should not see any real deterioration if Wall Street reads this thing correctly. What happened over the weekend means the DOJ's have a weak case. Texas already trying to ease out.
