Wouldnt it make sense to figure out if you have already had Covid ? That way you are immune and dont need a vaccine that may be unsafe
I think it’s a valid point. I think for many people it makes sense to get checked for antibodies first - especially for younger people (who usually get mild forms of covid anyway) and medical workers, who have a high risk of exposure. I know someone who works in a busy outpatient clinic in NYC, and she tells me that most people working there already had the disease. For many others as well, especially for people who tested positive in the past, or think they may have had it.

Would be nice to have studies about this, even though half of them seem to be a mess, anyway, lately... but I’d like someone to explain what’s the point in rushing with shots if a person already has protective antibodies.
