A big reason why the stock market has rallied is it cheap on a forward earnings basis relative to the risk free 10 year treasury and corporate balance sheets have never been healthier. Now we can debate the unknowns of what real earnings will be, how the housing bust plays out,where interest rates are going and the part played by the PPT in all this...... all huge wildcards IMHO..
