Article I. Section 3... When the President of the United States is tried, the Chief Justice shall preside.

Of course, Trump is a private citizen, not president. The question is whether John Roberts presides.

Article I. Section 3... Judgment in Cases of Impeachment shall not extend further than to removal from Office AND disqualification to hold and enjoy any Office of honor...

In this case, the judgment is moot since Trump cannot be removed for office.
