If they attempt to try him, I would hope that Trump would boycott it. Prof Turley posted at The Hill on Jan 16 that skipping the trial may be Trump's wisest and best path to take: ...for soon-to-be citizen Donald Trump, the best defense may be no defense at all. From a purely strategic perspective, I believe Trump may be wise to skip any trial.
