The DOJ's (and my) understanding is that Navigator will not be fully functional in future Microsoft OS releases. Explorer will be required to use Windows and will be the only practical access to the internet from an Intel platform.

Netscab has lied to you. Navigator works perfectly (I should say as well as before) under Win98 and NT5, and there is no reason to believe it will ever stop working.

As for the "Intel platform" comment, as an Intel stockholder I wish it were true, but it's not. Actually it's the opposite of the truth: the internet makes Intel less relevent.
