It's at least going in the right direction. To be counted the stock options could either be exercised or just be capable of profitable exercise. (this may be an approximation). I believe that the word 'float' has its own, different meaning, having to do with shares available for trade in the market, as opposed to all the shares that represent proportional corporate ownership. I don't know precisely what distinguishes a share that 'floats' from one that 'sinks'. -g-
