Dear Brother,

I think you are looking at this incorrectly. Assuming NPIX has made the decision to be acquired (remember, we don't know this, we are just shooting from the hip here!) they have to decide whether they will get a better sale price based on earnings *or* revenues. If they have made the judgement that revenues will be the greater contributor, they have no choice but to expand sales at the fastest rate possible. For this they need to have infrastructure expanded, and as quickly as possible, so they can take advantage of the current high values being placed on fast ethernet technology. I hope this is of some help.
