Liberals and conservatives. Let me put it this way. This concept is actually a pretty incredible and easy to see phenomenon when you look at it a certain way. Examine what a liberal and conservative is worldwide.
There were very few liberal's anywhere worldwide until the 20th century. And all totalitarin regims hate liberals.
In retrospect we can see Thomas Jefferson, Abrahma Lincoln, Mark Twain, Socratese, Plato, etc were all liberals.
We call all serious nationalistic governments conservative e.g Saudi Arabia, Russia, China. The entire middle east, Pakistan and India are mainly conservative and ironically exactly the same mind set as our religious communtiy! Same people different countries. And they all hate liberals-lol.
The liberal countries are primarily in the west e.g. Norway, Denmark, Holland, France, Canada and New Zealand, england.
And the two parties in England, New zealand and Australia run pretty much liberal and conservative. Thatcher was a conservative, labor is liberal.
So humans are dividing themselves as they gain knowldge. Some are able to leave their native culture and strike out into the existential void-lol. Others cling to, and defend their heritage. Like Babtists-lol.
All religions are conservative, except a heady philosophy like confucianism (whom I put up there with Plato, Socratese and and Aristotle and Taoism.
I think asia will beat the rest of the world because fundamentally their cultures are more philisophical and less dogmatic than most other cultures and they emphasize education and learning, not religous dogma.

Howard and Thatcher, Reagan and Bush are all of the same ilk.
The world recognizes liberals as wanting free press, democracy, and secular government, everywhere.
