No, Emile, I think you're mistaken. In fact, I think we have talked before about a few other subjects, with no problems as I can recall. I think I am one of the most open-minded, tolerant people you could find anywhere. What you evangelical Christians don't seem to understand is that SI is not a church!! Some of us wander around here discussing stocks, ideas, thoughts, feelings, writing poetry or sharing ideas for good music to listen to, even flirting or something!! It's an invasion of my privacy and my peace to be preached at by someone when I am doing that, told I'm not going to have eternal life or go to heaven, or whatever. Since I have my own deeply held spiritual beliefs, but along with them the basic good manners not to try to convert others to my way of thinking, I would appreciate being treated the same way in return. If you want to discuss religion go to the Ask God thread and do so to your heart's content, really!!! Go right now!!! I don't want to be saved, and am offended that you would consider it necessary; I certainly do not. |
