It is the same concept. What do you call unemployment benefits? I'm saying the government should be the employer of last resort in a re-revitalized social system based on the realities of pervasive robotization.

I believe society needs to develop a new social structure that helps the people deal with this problem. It should be a bonus enriching the society.

But the 800 pound gorilla in the room, is the pervasive inequality. The control of our society by the very rich. Which Trump has just worsened. We're something like 65th in the world in income inequality. All of the gains made the last 40 years have gone to the top 10% and most of them to top 1%.

The middle class has been in decline since Reagan got in and did things like tax Social Security made massive tax cuts for the rich and busted the unions.

We have to think in a modern way how to structure society better. That is my only point.
