It's not that strange if you think about why it's happening.
Once bond prices decline, the Fed steps in with a printing press
and securities lending to stall the decline. The resulting
liquidity lifts all markets - commodities, precious metals,
bonds, stocks. Right now the Fed is not printing all that much,
but that's because the bond market is off the hook.
