Dale, Why is the boot issue a major concern? IMHO, Notebooks! With limited space (room for only one removable drive), you now don't need to have a 3.5 in there any more at all. Is it a coincidence or not that Toshiba & NEC just now announced OEM agreements in their notebooks for Zips (see post 7375)? To be honest, this has been one cloud on the horizon in my mind, but I'm not a real computer jock, I just use the things. Cameron
