Manfred and Massimo, I lived and worked in Belgium for 2 years, moving in 1984. Enjoyed "mussels in Brussels" many times :-).

I used Merrill Lynch then, and although I was not very active, had access to the markets during NY trading time. I use Charles Schwab now but don't trade over the Internet. I Use Schwab's toll free number and their Street Smart software instead. Schwab might have a similar service on the continent.
