I briefly looked at FIHL. You are right that the numbers look too good to be true and the stock was issued below book value too.
There is some weird stuff going on with their corporate structure. Looks like FHIL’ underwriting is sourced by and associated companies where FIHL pays fees. So FIHL is not an indecent company apparently. I am concerned about conflict of interest here. Then it’s a Bermuda insurance co (not uncommon) but I don’t like those too much either. I out this on my watchlist but too many question marks imo.
