I disagree.

I have an HP Laserjet 6P which I bought about 14-15 years ago.

I'm on my 3rd toner cartridge and have a fourth one just waiting for this one to run out.

I've owned one Inkjet and one Laserjet in my life.

The quality and durability of the 6P has been superb. The toner cartridge works flawlessly for years even after lengthy periods of disuse.

IMO, If someone wants trouble free printer operation, get a reasonably good quality LaserJet. I don't print much, but when I do want to print something, I want to know that my printer will work properly.

FWIW,
Ian
