JimL. Roebear has it right. A slow, gradual rise in gold.

Actually that is my preference. Anytime a market spikes way up very quickly it usually gives it all back just as quickly. That's what we saw a year ago with the sharp rally in gold.

This time I'm voting for the "slow, gradual" scenario. Sure pops here and there, afterall the gold market is very thin compared to other markets that receive comparable attention from investors and the financial media. But most of the big bull moves I've seen in markets sneak up on you. That keeps the majority out until most of the move is over and the saavy early buyers are getting ready to distribute their shares near the top<g>.
