In 1964 our nation declared that discrimination was wrong and we were going to make sure it stopped. We certified that all men are created equal and that all people should be judged by the content of their character and not the color of their skin.

Discrimination continued and the promise was hollow.

I won't repeat the litany of reasons why young black men are angry...........everyone knows why. For very good reason, young black men are angrier than other young men, and now it's come to this..........young black men tend to grab a gun when they're angry.

That is what the "Great Society" wrought.

Because people and words fail them time and time again, we will continue to see angry young black men assuage their anger in this manner and more black lives will be lost.

Democrats know all of this, but they refuse to correct their mistakes for a multitude of reasons. The most obvious is the power they'd lose if young black men found a purpose outside of victimhood.
