1st to note that Sullivan chooses a gender-specific insult with douchebag rather than saying... assholes, jerks, etc. He uses the word that has been substituted for bitch, whore, c---.

why is he or anyone interested in husband? marriage or lack thereof?
does Sullivan simply hope she is lesbian so we can have a lesbian SC judge? I think actually not since his attitude towards women vacilates between referring to Palin as 'boobquake' and women like Hillary as 'hilldog'.
He clearly, imo, has no clue what it takes to be the first woman to head Harvard law school. fak, dude has no idea what it takes to be a powerful woman of any sort, or perhaps even to be a woman at all. surely he seems to not know what a douchebag is actually for... that would be cleansing, so why it is a rude term is something I leave to a male to explain. except that... well, the bag is used in the vagina, so maybe it is the polite way to call someone a cunt, even if they are male? wtf I know.
seriously, can we not leave the woman alone about her bedroom? and my gaydar, which I think as a lesbian is possibly better honed than Andrew's in this case, tells me Kagan is not a lesbian. She has given up most of a private life in order to reach the level she has. that's all. perhaps her closest friend is a woman. who she does not kiss.
