the shares to cover? Maybe. Maybe not.<<<

Good point, that thought hadn't crossed my mind. So that takes care of a certain % of the
callable shares.

>>>Why would any options trader take delivery and risk
selling on Monday? Monday could be a very volatile day <<<

Well, if I remeber correct ly, there were 3000 contracts open at 12 1/2.
While this is only 300000 shares, why would anyone not call the shares and
sell them immidiately? at 5/sh we are talking 1.5 million dollars you would have them
leave on the table.

I don't know where you get the 2% number, is that all strikes, all
stocks, put and call? I mean with odds like that, one should be selling
in-the-money calls each month, or at least quarterly.I do recall a lot
of consensus on the 30% number, though. You are the first I have
heard so low. I will be watching Monday AM, though, to see if my
hypothesis is correct.
