I haven't had that problem yet with Windows 7. I did have a system crash a few months ago, I got so many errors, bad clusters, can't read hard drive and a bunch of others, I had to restore the factory image to fix it. Afterward I scanned the HDD for errors or bad cluster and sectors all came back 100% fine with 3 different HDD software scanners.

Don't know why Windows went bonkers. Since then 100% stable. Not in a rush for SP1, will wait a while on that one.

On another note, sending back my Dell XPS 15, it started making a burning smell from the fan exhaust today, not your typical hot electronics smell, but something burning. I only had it 7 days. I searched others have the same problem. So thats it with me and Dell.

Looking at the new Toshiba's when they are out in a couple months.
