The Lapdog media will give their glaucoma induced call on the whole thing. Seems to me the Republicans already have beyond overkill against the Democrats as far as Oripoffcare goes. The Democrats are on record over 40 times to be pro Oripoffcare. What more do you need. The next thing that happens is basic economics. The supply curve of practitioners, equipment and facilities is fixed or even decreasing. Next the Demand Curve has to shift upward dramatically because there are so many obese slobs in the U.S. that have preexisting conditions they created for themselves without insurance that have to be covered that want treatment NOW at somebody else's expense. Economics 101, the price point HAS to increase. The idea was to ripoff the healthy young people trying to start their adult lives, but they aren't buying into the scam and most will just pay the $95 penalty. Who is going to pay for all the obese sloths? It will be a mix of taxpayers, borrowed money, and increased premiums on EVERYBODY that already has insurance and miraculously didn't lose their plan. The volume of emails, and faxes and letters to Congress in outrage against the stupidity of the Orwellian "Affordable" Oripoffcare is going to dwarf what the idiot Democrats did with their cosmetic assault weapon ban in 1994. The Democrats are going to lose the Senate and WH for sure, unless the Republicans are stupid again and pick some old codger because, "It's their turn". The Republics were stupid beyond belief to go with McCain and Bob Dole. When I vote for somebody I expect them to be mentally competent for 8 full years and not die in office.
