Double click My Computer/C/ go up top to Organize/click Folder and Search Options/ View Tab/ and put a dot in show hidden files, folders, and drives and hit apply and then OK. That should unhide the ProgramData folder.

Right Click your MyComputer Icon and choose properties and it will tell you if you are using 32 bit or 64 bit.

Those older programs may not work at all with Windows 7. If the programs are old enough the manufacturer will not write new drivers to get them working. Some you can try in compatibility mode and they will function. Some not.
