Hi Pronichev, responding to your last; Remember the Barron's segment which described the Eveready debacle. When they were near production of lith ion the Japanese mfgs suddenly halved the price of their lith ion batteries to $5.00. Eveready needed $7.50 to break even. My guess is that the lith ion products are still being sold at cost or below. Maybe FMK can comment on cost/price per Watt hr. for the two types of products.

Technology can mean a lot of things. Apparently, Mr. Myszka was referring to form factors(flexibility). I don't know what the state of the art is, here. Other technology issues, such as Watt hours(density) should give lith poly a marketing edge. I believe Fred's position is that Valence is going to market with an enhanced manganese version with other, exotic, high capacity products to follow in a few months. A product of this type should command a premium price to manufacturers who are building a leading edge or flagship product. Once the ground is broken, the lith poly battery should acquire rapid acceptance according to some marketing forecasts. The ones who stick with the lith ion will be flirting with the situation John alluded to when MOT was behind the "digital curve".
