You would obviously rather children had no freedom of thought, etc?

What concerns you, that children should be protected from exploitation including sexual abuse?
And so on.
Object to them if you like. Personally, I think it's a fine idea for a world body to declare the ideal rights of children. And IMO only a slaver or maybe a paedophile could truly object to children having these rights.
