Perhaps my reaction to Typing was that it started slowly. By the fourth book, I was tired of the author filling in the background, which I already knew, for those who hadn't started at the beginning. I was also annoyed at the author for having the protagonist somehow learn of the brother with AIDS in between books three and four. I would have liked to witness that info coming to her attention. In Beautiful, I found the sudden onset of depression, well, strange. But I'm nit-picking. They are wonderful books. I guess the next one will be a long time coming.
