Carlos was downsized when his company switched to crypto. This just exacerbated his drinking and gambling addictions so his family abandoned him. All he had left was this contest. Once he realized that was over, he glued himself to some train tracks in an effort to finally straighten out his life. He is now quite a changed man... and wishes to say he has flat-out quit his past evil ways and urges all of us to do same. Nah. - Jeff
