I would be more interested in the socio-culturally imposed switching system. Clearly there are times when women have licence to flirt or tease and times when they are expected to turn it off...and that it depends on a number of things, including whether they feel like it or not. This would make a fascinating pop-culture book. A world wide best seller, I bet.
