It does make for an interesting business model - where internet companies generate profits by investing in each other's stocks - the profits make it look like they have viable business plans which leads to greater increases in their stock prices - and greater profits - and more stock price increases...

If I wasn't a firm believer in our markets, I might be inclined to think this was a pyramid masquerading as a legitimate investment model.
