John,
The deal shows me that Soloman Smith Barney is squarely behind
PLC's efforts. We may also get some analyst's upgrades out of this.
A good relationship with a big investment banker always pays
dividends. IMHO 10 mill. is a small deal and will not hurt dilution
much. Lastly it makes a statement to the shorts that
they have institutional support.
