Actually it is believed that the longer term benefits will be more statistically significant but that expectation will only come over time as the drug is used. Hopefully the 2 year data will begin to show this difference. I agree that even a modest benefit in the short term is priceless, especially when there are few side effects. Basically it is a no lose proposition and who is going to scrimp to save a few thousand dollars if there could possibly be a benefit for them. Regards
